Company History.
Smith Remodeling and Contracting was founded in 2024 by Benjamin Smith with a focus on quality workmanship, clear communication, and a more thoughtful approach to residential remodeling. From the beginning, the company has worked to build a reputation for completing projects with care, consistency, and attention to detail.
Benjamin works closely with his father, David Smith, who helps oversee project management and quality control. David is a licensed professional inspector in the State of Texas and brings an extensive background in quality assurance and quality control from his work designing ships for the United States Navy. That experience has helped shape the company's detailed approach to planning, execution, and final review.
Together, the Smith family brings more than 13 years of construction experience gained in the San Antonio area prior to establishing their own company.
As a family-operated company, we take personal responsibility for the work completed under our name and aim to build relationships that last well beyond the final walkthrough.
